Osteopathy

Joel has completed degree in a Bachelor of Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy) from RMIT University in 2021. Joel’s appreciation for human movement and injury rehabilitation was formed during his years competing as an elite gymnast.

Over the past 2 years, Joel has treated a wide range of injuries at the RMIT Health Science clinic and has gained a particular interest in treating headaches and neck-related complaints. Additionally, he has spent time working with Waverley Blues Football club as a sports trainer, assisting in massage, exercise programming and sports taping.

Having completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2016, Joel has learned to incorporate exercise rehabilitation into the management of a patient’s condition, along with the use of manual therapy. To further his patient treatment outcomes, Joel has undertaken further studies by completing training in dry needling and cupping.

Joel believes in treating holistically by considering all aspects of health, to achieve his patients’ wellness goals.
