Dr. Sandra Buchanan (Chiropractor) is a thorough, kind, and compassionate practitioner. Since graduating from RMIT in 2000 with Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, she now has more than 20 years of experience, excellent clinical expertise and strong multi-disciplinary networks. Sandra is committed to ongoing learning and consistently ensures her learning is up to date with seminars, workshops, and online learning.
Sandra has a strong interest in rehabilitation and soft tissue therapy and uses a variety of approaches including low force techniques, Activator, and manual therapies. She has a particular interest in helping people with lower back pain, neck pain, headaches, jaw pain, postural concerns, and sporting injuries.
Sandra is developing her skills in Postural Ergonomics, to improve functional capability, increase Postural Fitness for upright postural design, and to optimize neuro-cognitive output of the worker. A focus on the person first, and then recommend a proper workspace ergonomic environment to support better function, upright posture, and precision of neuro-cognitive output. She has a keen interest in helping people to improve and maintain better posture at work, home, school, and study.
Dr. Sandra Buchanan (Chiropractor) is a long-standing member of the Chiropractic Association of Australia (ACA). She holds membership in the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) and the Chiropractic Sports Association of Australia. Sandra completed the Sports Medicine Diploma through FIFA in 2020.
