Physiotherapy

At Caulfield Natural Health Clinic we pride ourselves in providing high quality, evidence based physiotherapy services to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.

Physiotherapy is a health care profession concerned with the assessment, maintenance, and restoration of the physical function and performance of the body. It is a distinct form of care which can help to provide a speedy and complication-free return to normal.

Our physiotherapists will provide a thorough assessment to determine contributing factors to the presenting problem. Identifying factors such as poor posture, muscle imbalances, and poor work practices, allow interventions to be made to correct these factors. This will reduce the risk of the same thing happening again in the future.

Physiotherapists can help you get back to work, sport or pain free function more quickly by providing a combination of manual therapy, rehabilitation programs and advice on how to prevent a recurrence of an injury.

Physiotherapy can assist with a wide range of conditions including:

  • Headaches
  • Back and neck pain
  • Sports Injuries
  • Rehabilitation post orthopaedic surgery
  • Pelvic/back pain during pregnancy
  • Post natal care problems
  • Postural problems
  • Occupational injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Reduced mobility or balance
  • Muscle strains
  • Tendinopathies
  • Joint stiffness and pain
  • Mastitis

We work collaboratively with referring providers, including local GP’s and other practitioners within the clinic, to achieve the best results for our patients.
